Chapter 2 :
Pemulwuy of the Eora
Pemulwuy was an Aboriginal man that resisted the British invasion.
Pemulwuy speared and killed the governor's gamekeeper.
Pemulwuy organised and led raids on British farms around the Parramatta.
The British responded with revenge attacks on the Eora people.
Pemulwuy was wounded and captured in 1797 but escaped.
In 1802 Pemulwuy was shot dead and his head was sent to London.
